Bored piles are constructed by using a powerful hydraulic piling rig, a telescopic Kelly bar, and a variety of interchangeable digging tools. An encasing is rotated into the ground, upon reaching the desired depth the pile bore is then extracted using an auger, bucket, or coring unit connected to the Kelly bar.

The micro pile, also known as root pile, is a small diameter cast-in-situ bored pile formed by cement grout injection and subsequently equipped with lost, steel reinforcement element (bar, steel tube, H-type profile…). The boring is performed with compressed air or by means of a supporting drilling fluid (water, cement grout, bentonite).

(CFA) piles are drilled and concreted in one continuous operation enabling much faster installation time than for bored piles. Reinforcement is placed into the wet concrete after casting, enabling the pile to resist the full range of structural loading.

H or I-Beam Shoring also known as soldier pile walls are the most common type of shoring that we usually encountered in a construction project. It is constructed by driving prefabricated steel I or H sections into the ground. Soil conditions may allow for the sections to be vibrated directly into the ground instead of the pre-drilling of the soil before installing the beam. The full wall is formed by installing a pre-cast concrete panel between the driven steel beams to construct the shoring walls.H or I-Beam Shoring was used to support an excavation ranging from 1.2 to 5.0 meters deep or excavations equivalent to at least one basement and depending on the design.

Sheet pile shoring systems are walls that are formed in progressive manner within the ground by constructing a sequence of piles along the outline of the site and used to laterally retain ground including soil, rock and groundwater. The design of the shoring varies with depth of excavation and prevailing nature of the ground and potential surcharge loads imposed outside the shoring, the allowable deflections and whether the shoring system is permanent or temporary in purpose

The TAM grouting technique is used to consolidate soils and rocks, and it is widely applied in geotechnical civil engineering. The injections at a controlled pressure of grout or chemical mixings offer the possibility of improving the hydraulic and mechanical properties of soils, rocks, concrete or masonry works, and structures in general.
